Rosemary Kavanagh joint with the National Library of Jamaica Leads Discussion on the Caribbean Digital Library Project
June 10, 2008 - The second meeting of stakeholders for the Caribbean Digital Audio Collection pilot project (CDAC) initiated by the National Library of Jamaica with CNIB support to develop production capacity for digital audio books for blind and print handicapped users in 2002 was held in Kingston Jamaica on May 29th and 30th affirming direction and examining Copyright issues.
The ACURIL XXXVIII Conference also held in Jamaica provided a venue for meeting Executives of Academic, public and special libraries to discuss the next phase of development. At the request of those attending the following papers presented at both venues by Winsome Hudson, Executive Director of the National Library of Jamaica and Rosemary Kavanagh, President ERK Consulting Inc are available for download.

Rosemary Kavanagh Wins International “Spirit Award”
September 8, 2007 – AER, an international organization of educators and rehabilitation professionals, today honoured ERK Consulting President Rosemary Kavanagh with its prestigious Spirit Award in recognition of her dedication and many achievements for people with vision loss over the course of her career.
AER (the Association for Education and Rehabilitation of the Blind and Visually Impaired) is an international membership organization supporting professionals who work in all phases of education and rehabilitation of blind and visually impaired children and adults.
The Spirit Award was presented at the Association’s Annual General Meeting held this year in Waterloo, Ontario.
